Attorney Hudson is the founding member of The Law Office of Hugh A. Hudson. Born in Guyana and immigrating to the US as an adolescent, he has deep-rooted compassion and empathy for the immigrant community. He has the unique ability to understand the challenges associated with immigration from a client's perspective and approaches each case with an attitude of determination and dedication.
Attorney Hudson has been a successful advocate fighting the US Immigration System on behalf of immigrants, including himself and his family members, who have all successfully been granted citizenship in the US. Additionally, Attorney Hudson has served as an advocate to many undocumented immigrants by defending deportations, filing for temporary protected status and asylum, and many more.
Attorney Hudson obtained his Juris Doctor (J.D) and Master in Business Administration (MBA) from North Carolina Central University. Attorney Hudson practices before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the DC Court of Appeals.
Attorney Hudson has dedicated his life to advocacy and service. While in law school he volunteered as a Truancy Court Judge and a Guardian ad Litem advocating on the behalf of children who are less fortunate within the local Durham and Raleigh community. He also founded a charitable organization with a core mission of giving back to the community.
