Work Visas: Our firm has enjoyed plenty of successes with work visas. We have received work visas for our clients for TNs, OPTs, and EBs. We have helped our TN clients obtained the US work visa in as little as 4 days.

Adjustment of Status: AOS makes up a large percentage of our cases. We have successfully secure plenty of Green Cards for our clients. As part of our clients' Green Card process, we also apply for their work permits and travel permits. Our office has received work permits in a quickly as 1 month and Green Card is a fast at 6 months.

Asylum/Bond: Our firm has successfully advocated for many clients who have entered the US fleeing persecution from their home countries. We have worked clients from all over the world and have secured their asylum and which has led to US Permanency. We have worked with clients who have surrendered to border patrol and was taken into ICE’s custody. We then have negotiated their release from detention or ICE's custody by way of parole or immigration bond and reunited those individuals with their families and loved ones.

HLG has filed asylum petitions for our client who may have come to the US on a visa but because of change of circumstances in their home county they are now fearful of returning home. Some of our most recent cases are those our Afghanistan, Cameroonian and Ukrainian clients.

Withholding of Removal: HLG has represented clients who are ineligible for any other benefits under US Immigration Laws. However, those clients have been granted Withholding of Removal. For instance our client who entered the US from Guatemala where he was raped and beaten by gang members. This was Client’s second time entering the US as he was once deported expeditiously on his first attempt. Client was detained at the Elizabeth, NJ, Detention Center where HLG agreed to represent him. HLG, in a few weeks, obtained a Withholding of Removal status for Client and secured his release.

Naturalization: A big component of our Immigration practice is obtaining US Citizenship on behalf of our clients. Becoming a US Citizen is the end of the immigration journey for our clients and our office pride itself if making this process as smoothly as possible. Our office has successfully obtained US Citizenship by naturalization in as quickly as 3 months.

NOID: Responding to a Notices of Intent to Deny is a responsibility our office take seriously because it is usually to last step before a petition is denied by USCIS. Take for instance our Jamaican client Client who married a USC wife and was granted a conditional green card. However, his marriage did not work out. Wife later called USCIS and indicated that Client married her for a green card. She also indicated to USCIS that Client forged her signatures on the immigration paperwork. HLG got involved after USCIS issued him a notice of Intent to Deny his conditional removal application and take away his green card.

HLG crafted an unyielding response to USCIS which resulted in USCIS removing all conditions and granting Client a 10-green card. Client has since committed to never letting any other lawyer work on any immigration matter for him and has hired HLG to petition for his children.

Or another of our client who, at his adjustment of status interview, was accused fraud by USCIS. USCIS officer accused Client of fraud by misrepresenting his marital status on his visitor’s visa application 10 years ago. HLG got involved, issued a letter to USICS and Client was granted a green card in 2 months.

Parole in Place: HLG has had success for family members of our current or former military service persons. Enabling their family to secure a parole that waives unlawful entry and therefore allowing for adjustment of status to Law Permanent Residents.

Consular Process (Family member overseas): Many of our cases are of those who has their family members back in their home county and would like to bring them to the US. We have Successfully represented individuals from all over the word. Example: Kenya, Nigeria, Turkey, England, Netherlands, Spain, Brazil, Guyana, Liberia, Jamaica, Mexico, Honduras Just to name a few. Our Office has reunited our clients with their children, spouses and parents in a quickly as 8 months.

DACA. Our office has represented numerous DACA clients. These clients are also grateful to be granted so sought of legal status as most of them have been living in the US since their were children.
